Privately situated on a big block with lots of shady native trees, yet only three minutes stroll from the Park Avenue beach access track and four minutes walk to the shops, this holiday house offers the best of both worlds! Despite its traditional external appearance, the house has loads of character with a funky retro aesthetic that has been delighting visitors to Sandy Point for years. The open plan living space contains a full size table tennis table for holiday tournaments that doubles up as a large dining or activities table. There is a split system in the living area which can heat/cool the house.There is a TV with 15+ channel reception as well as DVD and CD players, and a collection of movies and music for family entertainment. With the installation of the 4G Telstra tower completed in 2016, Sandy Point now has very good mobile reception! The first bedroom is located on the lower level of the home and contains a double bed. The second large bedroom, on the upper level, stretches the width of the house, overlooks the living area below and has four single beds. Bedding including doonas and pillows for all beds is provided but all guests will need to bring their own linen (sheets, covers) and towels. The upstairs space can be divided up for privacy with sliding curtains, making the house similar to a three bedroom home but with the ability to open the space up during the day for holiday activities. There is also a second TV/ DVD viewing area upstairs. The house has a well equipped kitchen and the bathroom contains a shower and toilet. There are laundry facilities with a new washing machine and dryer. There are two sunny decks, one at the front of the house that has a gas barbeque, outdoor seating and a table, plus a smaller one for private relaxation overlooking the treetops. Please note that there are steps at the property, not just to the upper level, and so unfortunately this property is not suitable for wheelchairs. Pets are not permitted. The property is also not fenced. STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES or BUCKS/HENS NIGHTS. We do not cater for parties. While the property is fully furnished and well equipped, it may not have all appliances and equipment you may be used to using. We apologize if this causes inconvenience.
